TBI NETWORK HOSTS SECOND ANNUAL WALK WITH THOUGHT EVENT
Fundraising for a Local Non-Profit Organization
Spokane, WA – The TBI Network (www.tbisn.org), a locally based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, invites members of the community and beyond to their second annual Walk With Thought event on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at High Country Orchard in Green Bluff, WA. Go to www.walkwiththought.org to register, sponsor, or donate goods to the event.
Walk With Thought is a 5k (3.11 miles-approx.) walkathon event meant to bring awareness to the issues surrounding both brain injury and disability of all types. Proceeds from registration fees ($17.00 in total), which includes a Walk With Thought t-shirt, will go to funding support services coordinated by the TBI Network, in association with People First of Washington and the Brain Energy Support Team (BEST).
The event will start promptly at Noon and end at approximately 4:00 PM. There will be food and other educational activities made available at the main staging area. Our central theme for 2017 is the “think-athon”, where participants will engage and learn about the important aspects of brain injury and disability of all types.
